High-power cutting machine will usually use the cutting table power more than 5.5kw, up to 2800 RPM, cutting workpiece diameter larger occasions. Because the cutting torque force is large, the cutting disc damage is also relatively large, so the cutting disc will be required to have certain rigidity, we usually choose the thickness of 3.8mm cutting disc.

At the same time, due to the larger cutting diameter, the cutting resistance will increase, the cutting surface temperature will be very high, so it is very important to reduce the cutting temperature. If possible, water should be added to cool the cutting.

The experiment shows that if water cooling is added during cutting, the durability of the cutting sheet can be increased by 1.5-2 times. But in some cases there is no condition for water cooling.

How to distinguish the quality of cutting sheet from its appearance?

cutting discs is not like ordinary goods, it is easy to see good or bad in the appearance. The saw blade belongs to the tool category, similar in appearance, if not professionals, it is difficult to see the pros and cons by the naked eye.

Here's how to select a saw blade in detail:

1. First, check whether the cutting head on the cutting sheet is in the same straight line

If the cutting head is not on the same straight line, it means that the size of the cutting head is not regular, and some may be wide and some may be narrow, which will lead to unstable cutting when cutting stone and affect the quality of saw blade.

2. Observe whether the weld is welded closely with the matrix

There will be a welding seam after brazing before the welding seam and the base metal. If the curved surface at the bottom of the cutter head is completely fused with the base metal, there will be no gap. If there is a gap, the cutter head on the cutting sheet and the base metal are not completely fused, mainly because the curved surface at the bottom of the cutter head is not polished evenly.

3. Measure the weight of the cutting disc

The heavier and thicker the cutting blade, the better, because the heavy saw blade, the greater the inertial force when cutting, the more stable the cutting. Generally speaking, 350mm cutting pieces should be about 2 kg, and 400mm cutting pieces should be about 3 kg.

4. Check the cutting disc hardness

The higher the cutting dischardness is, the less likely it is to deform. Therefore, whether the cutting dischardness reaches the standard during welding or cutting directly affects the quality of the saw blade. High temperature welding does not deform, and force majeure does not deform, which is a good cutting disc.
